Thargoid Alien Base Discovered

::CMDR Vizz Curio on the Jupiter Jazz, docked at starport Obsidian Orbital, Maia::::personal log::
Maia's starting to feel like a second home. Well Obsidian Orbital would be, if it had more services I need.
Today when I turned on my comms I had an open wing invite from CMDR Delco. I linked up and he immediately told me to come to his position, that there's something I absolutely must see but he wouldn't tell me what it was.
I assumed he was near Katta, but instead he was 17 jumps away in a system I've never heard of: HIP 19026. And after today everyone will be familiar with it.
Excited, I blasted off on a chained series of jumps, sipping on each sun just enough after each to top off my fuel tanks and keep me going.
When I jumped into HIP 19026 I pulled up CMDR Delco's wing beacon and headed out, eager to drop in after... 30,000ls. It took a few minutes to close that distance. I think I clocked 195 times the speed of light before beginning deceleration.
I came in to a second star's planetary system, aimed for a small moon with reddish color and some large craters.
Dropping into orbital cruise I locked onto his ship's signal and dove in, aiming for the crater ahead.
I did a double-take when I realized this crater had a greenish gaseous glow to it, and it wasn't an inverted bowl but a spiral, with huge bone-like spines and protrusions around the lines:
As I approached the center I saw the main alien structure, and many other Commanders investigating:
Inside the center looking down from above:
The central structure is massive, easily 6 times the length of an Anaconda in diameter, and maybe 2.5 times one in height. There are 3 doors to enter this structure, but they were impervious to beam lasers, mining lasers, and plasma repeaters from what I witnessed. In the chatter I heard reports that the Unknown Artifacts or Probes, when brought in close proximity, open a door. But I did not see this myself.
Around the area were several, maybe 6 or 8, of these organic pods. I was able to scan them and get some analyses on their composition. Hopefully I can get this data to the Cannon Research Group, if they haven't already received it from others. They're very alien indeed:
After exploring on the ground in my SRV and chatting with other Commanders and watching their attempts to breach the doors, I lifted off and launched in my SLF to fly around and get a bird's eye view of the scene. That done, I packed up and headed for Maia to dock at Obsidian Orbital. Hopefully some of the people hanging around in the next day will like to share their insights on this major discovery.
