While in forced dry-dock the other week I was browsing ancient archives of texts from human history and came across The Sand Reckoner by Archimedes. A modern translation of millennia-old English (but not Olde English) translated from original ancient Greek.
1063 might be my new favorite number.
That's how many particles of sand Archimedes estimated would fill the universe.
...the universe, he estimated, was 2 lightyears in diameter! Hilarious!
Such a genius mind in a primitive era, imagine what he could've discovered with today's base of knowledge.
