Evacuation of Sol

With the approach of Cojico towards Sol, the gravity of the situation was clear. Over 22 billion souls lay in the direct path of the last titan.Cojico's arrival in Sol was inevitable and the only option was complete evacuation of the home system of the human race.
Beginning with a Cutter, I evacuated 4000 souls. It became clear that this wasn't enough. The double jump from Sol to the Rescue Ship Cornwallis was slowing down the rescue efforts.
After some ship design and a quick detour to some Engineers, I had refitted an Exploraconda (now sadly obsolete) as The Sardine Can.
With massive thrusters, half its fuel tank removed, no shields, no armor. Just passenger cabins seating 192 desperate refugees, heatsinks, point defence turrets and twin ECMs, the travel time was halved.
The race was on to rescue as many people as possible.
A week later, the Cutter and the Conda had jointly rescued 32,353 souls from Sol, with not a single passenger lost to the thieving scythes.
It was a valiant effort, but it wasn't enough.
