Rhizome Pods are seed pods found in Notable Stellar Phenomena. Unlike other spaceborne seed pods, the parent organism of Rhizome Pods has not been identified, and they may be entirely self-contained. There are five known types of Rhizome Pod:
- Candidum Rhizome Pod
- Cobalteum Rhizome Pod
- Grypseeum Rhizome Pod
- Purpureum Rhizome Pod
- Rubeum Rhizome Pod
Rhizome Pods have been found exclusively in the Tenebrae galactic region systems.
Research Limpets can extract Pod Core Tissue, Pod Surface Tissue, or Pod Dead Tissue from Rhizome Pods.
