A trader at heart

The Federation had finally given me access to the Federal Corvette, Core Dynamic's masterpiece. I also got some medal for becoming a Rear Admiral, which made it really awkward when I told them I was leaving the Federation. I packed up my bags hopped in my Diamondback explorer a made my way to Jameson Memorial. As soon as I landed I got to work. I haven't even found a place yet, I've just been sleeping in the hangar. That's just where I spend most of my time and believe me I'm not the only one. Down in the hangars there's a small makeshift bodega where pilots will go between outfitting and customizing to grab a drink and a quick bite to eat. I was sitting down with a back issue of Sagittarius Eye enjoying a cup of coffee when all of the sudden this haggard spacer bursts through the door, "We're talking Ross! DRINKSon me!", he says before crashing in a chair. Turns out the Dark Wheel is not only alive and well but on the move. As I looked back at my brand new Corvette everything clicked, this is the opportunity I've been looking for. Like mom used to say, the Pilots Federation is a tool, an instrument and a weapon and that's what makes it so dangerous. So I headed out to Birkeland City and met up with a lovely lady by the name of Ines Riddle. It was a little odd, almost like she new I was coming. "Ready to get to work space cowboy?", as she handed me a mission to take down 30 members of the Gold Syndicate. I just smiled and said yes mama. I can't wait to tell the squad about this. Early on in my navy career I once accidentally took on a mission like this but I was the one that got massacred. I had to call in the squad for help. This time it's going to be different. As for the Sirius offer I think it will be a good arms deal but I don't think I'll stick around after I secure the pack hounds and permits. Ater all, I'm a trader at heart and more permits mean more more markets.
