Just got in, late as usual. Had a message from the ISR (Inara Squadron Registrar) and a package waiting downstairs. Two medal ribbons inside, both signifying my commitments. The first, a gold eagle set over a white band surrounded by two black bands. The second, a set of five gold triangles over red white and blue bands. Gold edges on both now replace my existing silver edged pair.
You know, I'm not really one for accolades, but there is a sense of pride I get with acknowledgements like these. It's a damned good squadron, and I'm proud to be a part of it. A soft clink of metal is heard upon a surface. Now where's the rest of that Lavian Brandy?
