I've wrapped everything up here and sent the Retribution down to the Pleiades via carrier. GalNet says 'goid activity is unusually high, even for that region and more of the same way out in the Coalsack too. Sometimes you hear the reports, and it makes you feel like the bugs completely surround the bubble and are just sitting at your doorstep, ready and waiting to make their incursion.
A few of the Blues have already shifted operations to push back and I'll be joining that operation in the next few days.
Funny to think that the more things change, the more things stay the same. We humans are still out here fighting our wars between each other, and meanwhile now more than ever we've got aliens posturing to wipe us out. When are we as a species ever going to get our shit together, stop shooting each other in the back, and look at the bigger picture?
