Reached the next checkpoint system today. The Council's message was brief but clear: under no circumstance am I allowed to pass through the NGC 2264 Sector. I am very disappointed by this... I did not expect to find anything special in there, but my originally intended route would have taken me straight through. I am curious why their previous entries made no mention of this. Perhaps they considered it to mean I would have taken a more suspicious route had I known this from the start?

I only have one more checkpoint system left. Will be interesting to see what that system's message has to say.
