Intercepted message: Personal log entry, mission Foxtrot Bravo, 3306-11-12

[Syndicate Security intercepted the following personal log entry from field operative "Syndicate Messenger" on 3306-11-12, source: Outotch BW-S b18-0. Checksum 8952163b0aa1dcb17446 verified]

Note from Syndicate Security:
Yesterday's instruction to not enter the NGC 2264 Sector, combined with today being his last instructed checkpoint, appears to have made him start to question the details (as he knows them) of the mission. Consequently, we replaced today's message with one containing a few more tidbits of information, as well as a new set of checkpoints and instructions. That should keep him on track, hopefully.

Today's Council message was certainly not what I was expecting. First of all, Council revealed that the [redacted] faction is heavily suspected to be involved in the rumors I am sent to investigate. The Council believes that operatives from [redacted] may be shadowing me. For this reason, they would not entrust me with further knowledge unless I reached this checkpoint. Now that I did, they revealed a further set of checkpoints; apparently leading around the NGC 2644 Sector. Saves me from making quite as heavy calculations for new routes, though it will still take some work.

On top of this, they instructed me to start making full surface scans of any planetary body within 50k LS of a system's primary star. Suffice to say, this mission just became a lot longer, but I anticipate this could lead to some quite interesting views.
