I started the day by jumping to the V651 Monoceros system to visited the Drake-class fleet carrier Siberia X7G-NKB. I did stock up on supplies as I had hoped, but I was sad to see it did not have a shipyard... so I am still stuck with my grade 2D fuel scoop.
The rest of the day went mostly uneventfully. Every time I stop to scoop fuel, I spend a bit of time examining the galactic map to see if there might be another fleet carrier within reasonable distance. So far I have not seen any apart from the Siberia, whether within reasonable or unreasonable distance... I will keep looking.
However! I was finally able to plot a route to my final destination - the Rosette Sector EG-Y e9 system. Quite a way to go, more than 1000 LY, but I should be able to get there tomorrow. The day after at the latest.

I am stopping for the night. My first jump tomorrow will be to the NGC 2244 Sector UP-C b30-0 system. It's an "NGC" system, but it is not an "NGC 2264", which was the only one the Council told me to avoid. When I examined my final destination, my sensors detected two fleet carriers; one inside the Rosette nebula, one outside. I hope at least one will still be there when I arrive; ideally both. As long as whichever one I reach has a shipyard, I will count myself lucky. I can barely picture having to make the return trip with the same grade 2D fuel scoop...
