My brothers trip to Colonia.

I've been working hard on fitting out a new ASP Explorer, so I haven't had time to write much. But, with a new set of thrusters on the old girl, It's about time I continued to log my brother's journey to Colonia.After bagging a Thargoid and making a fortune with Moby Brick, he set off to polish his combat and trade skills. He had heard of some girl in the empire who was giving away impressive shields for four weeks of loyal service. So, he pledged to her and fought in her wars for a solid month. His trust corvette did him well during this time, and eventually, he got the shields - shortly after, he defected to the Federation.
In his travels, however, he met up with a group claiming to be the "Light among the stars" or something - a group of people who loved helping new commanders learn the ins-and-outs of the galaxy, and he took a fondness to them. He progressed through their ranks, up to mentor and eventually to a council position as a Senior Officer in the squadron.
Shortly after is when he set out to Colonia, He found out that this is where I had settled down from a mutual friend who helped get me here. Never one to do things half-measure, he plotted a course through 346 known earth-like and water-worlds along the way to Colonia and added in about 20 sight-seeing stops for good measure. A good friend of his joined him on this crazy journey, and in a week he made it from Scout to Elite Explorer, earning a few hundred million along the way.
And that is where his tales end. A double elite in the middle of Colonia, my brother. When he left, he said he had to race back as the security forces in the bubble had raised the prices on criminal bounties. He was keen to cash in on that, as he was apparently only a billion or two off buying himself a Drake-Class carrier.
Crazy bastard, I hope he comes back someday.
