I arrived in a system with 51 bodies. Nothing valuable planet-wise, but at least there is a planet with some biological signals. Going to check it out.

Bloody brown dwarfs. Their exclusion zones are soo big, and I hit one. Not great for the FSD, and not great for my hull integrity. I should be fine though.

Waypoint reached. This is a K-class giant. It's on the cold side, but not near a record. It looks like there is a black hole nearby, so I will pop by real quickly.

Awwww. The black hole has already been discovered. I think this is the first black hole this expedition.

I'm on my way to the O-class star waypoint, but it's time for me to sleep. I'll just orbit around this moon for a while.

Alright. Is this thing on? It started with the fridge. Power surge took out main lighting. Temporarily shut down condenser melted a heat pipe. Warnings all over the place, ship in power saving mode and more importantly no FSD to get me out of the place. AFMU only helped so much and had to crawl through access hatches all over the place to fix the myriad of issues with this thing. One of the times I wished I was with a full crew here.
It took me a bit to get this thing up and running again, but I am back. Back on track.

Waypoint reached. The beautiful glow of a O-class star trying to kill the ship with heat. Already discovered it seems. Time for the home stretch to the DSSA carrier.

I've set down on an icy planet with rings. I'm usually not a fan of icy planets. They are cold, mostly flat and mostly featureless. The place where I landed though has a nice view of the ring, and the main planet can clearly be seen from the surface of this moon.

I found a planet with some plant life, and I think this is where I will sleep for the night. Gravity is pretty much non-existent though, so I have to actually secure myself to the bed if I don't want to float off when I toss and turn during the night. Visually the planet is nothing special. The planet I am orbiting around is visible in the sky, and that is pretty much the most exciting thing to look at. The terrain is very very bland. But hey, at least I got to scan 3 species and hopefully increase my standing in the exobiology community.

DSSA carrier reached. Unfortunately the carrier is at the dark side of the planet, so no nice photo opportunities here. I have planned out my next route. The target system is one with 4 B class stars in it at 213 jumps and 12.7k ly away. In reality I will be dodging and weaving through 9 systems with one or more KII-class stars, and one with a AI-class star. It's going to be exciting.

First waypoint reached. This is a KII-class star. A supergiant. No good way to show it off though. Only the secondary star has bodies orbitting. Funnily enough, this is two jumps out from the DSSA carrier, and no-one has visited it yet.

Interesting system, with 3 water worlds and an ammonia world. That will be worth quite a bit of money. There is also a planet with 4 biological features here. One of the most interesting ones is one of the Recepta genus. It builds a cage around itself for some reason, with the fleshy stem and flowers inside of it. I haven't yet figured out why it flowers in the first place, or why it needs to protect itself. Maybe it originally came from a body that had animal life?
