The memory card has a lot of junk on it. It's got personal files, photos, some music, and a bunch of corrupted sectors. The card was locked away back there for some time, and it has seen better days. It seems to have a large selection of Shasilan Rampa Room. The happy dance pop that was inescapable just over a decade ago seems all but forgotten now. To be honest, it was a little obnoxious, but it is a change from what I’ve had available for the last month. It is danceable I’ll admit! And I guess the nostalgia is fun. Zero gravity dancing is fun, and it's a great workout! Professionals make themselves look like liquids that dart and melt along with the music. I am not a professional dancer. I recorded myself just for fun last night. If anyone were to see the video without context, they would wonder if I was having a medical issue. But dancing is such fun I’m not going to stop.

I’m excited to be working at last. My first subsector assignment is going well. Once I got the hang of the forms we are using to log the data, it has just been a matter of performing the scans and making sure the data is correct. I’ve completed surveys on 13 stars and 46 planets in 3 systems so far.

Passing the time is a little different on the job than on the trip out here. When you’re travelling the long distance, videos are great to pass the time. Collecting and recording data need more attention, and it’s audio you want to go with that task. A video can be too distracting, but music is great. Lectures are wonderful to hear as well. I've got a whole playlist of lectures to get through. “The Psychotic Commanders: An examination of social morality among elite pilots” by Sarah Brackman is at the top of my list. Ms Brackman hid for over a year after publishing the original paper. Several upset commanders had made attempts at her life. I’m embarrassed to admit the controversy has me intrigued.

No lectures tonight, though. I’m off duty, and it’s time for some SPACE! Zinfandel and a lot of dancing. Yes, the winery is named “SPACE!”. Yes, it's ridiculous. Ridiculously tasty that is.

Here's to oaky notes, and rampa room!
