Hi.
So the whole Federation-Empire spat and the NMLA have really shaken things up apparently, because bounty rewards have increased as a result of "instability". I'm not complaining, it made doing some more hunting with Aylin and Packie for that community mission in Mandh pay even better, which is great for all of us. I might do some more of that tomorrow... we'll see.
After I had finished up in Mandh for the day and Packie went off to do whatever it is he does, I decided that now would be a good time to get to work on actually finishing the engineering on this ship. Today I got the shields pretty much done, and I upped the power plant some more; I still need to get the beam lasers, FSD and thrusters done, and a few other things need some finishing touches - I just don't have the materials.
While we were travelling around Aylin was telling me about what happened while I was out on that expedition with Packie. Nothing too interesting except for when she started talking to this bloke at the bar who turned out to be an ex-member of the Kurians Purple Syndicate. Apparently he arrived in Jefferies Port and exchanged a bunch of valuable intel on some key figures within the syndicate in exchange for a full pardon. Aylin said to him at the time that the intel he had given was probably going to be used to track and identify a target that I would then get paid to assassinate. She was probably right about that to be honest.
Anyway, I'm knackered... I'm going to get some sleep.
