Xeno-peace? That's what they're calling it? Sure.

Guess I can't complain about the name. If it stuck, it's got reason to. But the PDB eyeing it... guess they keep an eye on any major anti-military sentiment. They protect against any terrorism that doesn't come from them.Anyone ever wondered what it was like on Federal Earth-like worlds when the star set for the first time after the PDB was enacted? Militarized Federal security forces breaking into the homes of anyone who didn't conform to the standard of an idea citizen. Which, of course, meant anyone they wanted. Independent investigations have shown that these forces had orders to break in- to enter through windows, even in cases where door entry would be easier. The operation was meant to terrorize. To leave more broken glass in the streets than ever before. To try to force the people into fearful submission.
Remember when Hudson called for an end to the violence between his supporters and supporters of Felicia Winters, following reports that they were clashing in the streets? The ground conflict was a coordinated attempt to take back what was lost when the PDB was first enacted. To drive out Hudson's police from their cities. To speak out in the only language Hudson seems to understand: violence.
We have to fight for our right to care for each other and for the space and worlds we inhabit. Fight to preserve the only reason humanity deserves to continue to exist and take up space and resources, our ability to care. We have to fight to remind everyone that the Thargoids have intelligence far beyond anything we know, and that means they likely understand us better than we understand ourselves. They have shown respect and comprehension of human individuality, an idea completely foreign to them- we have always had their attention.
So be it.
To all of us who stand against wanton violence and oppression,
The xeno-peace movement,
The movement for Federal liberation,
The movement against Sirius Corporation corrupting the Alliance,
The Marlinist movement,
Whatever we may be called,
I stand with you, as we raise our fists.
