Another war, another billion in bodies

It's been a long several days for all of us, and although the end is closing in we still haven't managed to deal enough damage to reach our initial goals this time around. 2 days remain, and that might just be enough for The Exiles to reach tier one. Having hit just over a billion already, I am curious as to whether or not I have the time to hit 1.5 by the time this goal ends, but we're certainly going to find out, won't we?I'm ultimately curious what the future holds for all of us, and what actions the NMLA will take in response to what has already been a grueling conflict (for both sides). Which star ports will end up feeling the brunt of their fury in retaliation for this latest perceived transgression? I certainly hope we find out soon, as when the dust settles there will be a need for mercenaries like us to, yet again, clean up the mess. We can only hope the tier totals are a little more forgiving next time around.
As I sit here and polish off a fresh Elite IV badge, I seriously itch to finish the job. This *could* be an Elite V, and I am fairly certain it will be by the end of this current war. Fight with everything you have, and stack those credits up. We have a long ways to go and such little time to do it. This goes for both sides in this conflict.
