Dear CMDR Lex Humboldt. Flying the Eagle named "Midge"

Thank you kindly for that exhilarating game of cat and mouse between Millerport and Kosmala Rewards. You attempted a few times, in vain, to interdict and dispose of little old me.

You must have thought, "Oooh, easy pickings." when you saw my iEagle with around 50% hull streaking towards the planet. I had smacked into the Station while being overzealous.

So you decided to interdict me. I tried to fight, but you're a cunning little bugger, so I decided to go for Plan B. I throttled back and we both dropped from SC. In an Instant I located you, made sure I was pointing the other way and Put all power to Engines as my tiny shield would be useless anyway.
And just as I hit the Foxtrot Oscar button you started raining death down upon my weakened ship. Shields were dying fast. So I flipped to Silent Running and popped a Heat Sink, while boosting again... I was doing 640 m/s at that point and the shooting stopped as you struggled to see a Black Ship with zero signature on the black backdrop of space.

I did my Scans and headed back to Millerport. This time you were waiting for me, with what I could only picture as a bruised ego. Hell bent on getting me for having evaded your once. So I had you targeted and saw you slipping in behind me while still gaining speed from having left the planet a moment ago.
Sure as hell, there came the interdiction again. I submitted instantly and we began the cat and mouse again. Boosted away, but this time I had a better start, my Shields held and I wasn't leaving you in the dust, by far enough behind that your lasers wouldn't harm me and a quick Heatsink later ensured I would slip away again.

But I have to give it to you, you're a persistent little bugger. I was just approaching Millerport and as the Safe to Disengage message appeared so did another interdiction. I again submitted and we dropped from SC about 750 Km from Millerport. I bolted again, popped my last heatsink and boosted till I was almost overheating, but I slipped away for a third time, leaving you behind with nothing but a low wake signal.
I was instantly in range of Miller and just dropped from SC for a quick pitstop to reload, repair and hand in 15 Mil in Scans. This time I removed all extras, all hardpoints and D-rated even further, so our next encounter would be much shorter as I was able to push almost 600 and boost to 740. You would not get a shot in again.

I guess you learned why my ship is called the "Shadow Chaser"
Do you like it?
