Don't you chaps worry, I'm still Tycoon Torrente and business is flamboyant! The problem is actually making a buck right there. Lately the number of pirates interdicting is too damn high! I've taken a coward's decision, but... I just can't risk having a(nother) drop of 7 million in my balance. I sacrificed a 64-ton cargo rack for shields. When you need'em, you need'em. The good thing is I've also invested in six (six!!) MINE LAUNCHERS! They're very fun, specially when you outmaneuvre your enemy. But I reckon an Anaconda is a tough nut to break. Yet, An interdicting Python went down real fast when her shields crashed. Those mines pack a reaaaal punch.
I hope I'll last enough with the shields to enjoy blowing one up. I know I really enjoy wipin' em out when I'm flying the Python, but they're always a mean foe.
In any case, I'm back around Paras. I've closed some trade agreements with Zemina Torval's organization. Now I get a dividend each time I trade in her systems. Not that I particularly care, but extra creds are always extra creds. Now... I'm not a fanboy, I reckon I'll just be keeping this not-that-low profile in her business, but I won't look to go further up the ladder. Too many strings attached and, above all, a bigger hole in my pocket, and I'm not that generous. I'll keep on working with the perks I already have.
In the meantime Achenar Immortals are expanding from Paras, we'll see where since the last one landed them in Wapiya, unleashing quite a bit of a headache for the chaps. Still working on the Imperial Auxiliary Navy rank. That dreamy Cutter will be mine, some day!!
