Kuddos to Commander Nooc, for 3 millions in platinum and an on-the-go training on those damn little limpets I had never used before. quite a knack for mining, I've heard, but quite some dinero to cash in.The job was rather easy: support a faction in the system by providing them balanced food and high tech. 10 loops total. Down side? It was an outpost. I had to catch on the old Python Virgen del Rocío but getting far in Aisling space was not a big deal. I'm used to 40-60 Ly routes anyway.
Then I had to source the food. Sadly a rather longish route, but the high-tech was a little better.
Trade margins, of course, weren't capital for this job but I had an unexpected engine revision to make on the Python, so it took most of the day to do it. In any case, 3 millions earned, and I can't certainly complain about.
Thruth be told it's less than I would make on a day of trade hitting the hot routes, but I'm happy to help a buddy. We go way back, on the days of trading. I'm glad he's got a VERY beautiful Cutter right now and I can't wait to hit the hot routes with him.
All in a day's job, so. And happy to have done it.
