May 10th 3302. A day that will live in infamy thanks to the UGC

I've know cowards. Self-absorbed people, traitors of the worst kind. And then these guys.
The United German Commanders were out for blood since day 1. The Emperor had put the Achenar Immortals in Paras, not out of loath for a bunch of independents that have force several systems out of her control, but out of a sign of civility: against your self-centered barbarism we would be a beacon of Imperial Light. This is undone today.
The Movement for Paras Free has won a "civil war" they were defacto losing in the conflict zones, after the Immortals stacked millions after millions in combat bonds.
Why did we lose then? Because the beer-loving bastards would still target our police forces, and civilians, and basically do so wherever we were not looking (((OOC note: in private groups, like the cowards they are))), thus artificially undermining our influence to 1%.
The product of this is another system is lost to the Empire. Even after multiple Imperial factions had answered the call and multiple times defeated the United German Commanders in fair fights. ((OOC note: when they weren't combat logging, of course. Ain't thar right CMDR Juniper Nomi'Tar?))).
Personally. Ever since my home system was absorbed into the Alliance all those years ago, I haven't been back to LHS 2482. Things are likely to be the same in Paras unless Prince Elenar and his officers find a way to prosper again, maybe somewhere else. Until then, I think there is no point facing an enemy whose cowardice prevents him froma straight fight, and when they do, they run like the whoosies they are.
My goal will return to be the trade routes, and occasionally volunteer some help in Cubeo, against the enemies of its rightful rulers. Only then I'll have enough rank in the Empire to get me a Cutter and materialize my dream fleet.
Hasta la vista, Paras. Hasta la vista, United German Cowards.
Time to travel the stars once more.
