That was some well needed rest and relaxation.
Following the events of yesterday, and the celebrations back on the carrier with everyone, we settled in for a good sleep. The crew and I didn't have anything planned for today, so we stayed back at the carrier and slept in a little. Taking the morning easy, enjoying some coffee, the views from the Hyperlght, mingling with the other Alchemists. Things are good.
One thing I do want to get done today though, a good idea I overhead from the others during the derby; materials for emergency synthesis. Before calling it a night last night, I checked our cargo and sure enough, we don't have any materials for emergency SRV ammo, fuel, repairs, or FSD boosts. I'd rather be safe than sorry when it comes to these things, especially when traveling the Black. After some lunch, we'll head out on a collection mission for some synthesis materials. Better make a list of things to keep an eye out for and chat with the others to get some tips on how to find them.

- Vanadium
- Germanium
- Sulphur
- Phosphorus
- Iron
- Nickel
A healthy collection of those should suffice for some basic emergency supplies should we every need them. I'll update my log once we set out in search and see what we come up with.

No luck. None at all.
Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spots? The wrong planets? Our scans are indicating material sources on the planets. Carbon, vanadium, phosphorus, etc. But upon arrival, we haven't found a thing. My resources tell me our scanners should be picking up local pockets of minerals 2 km above the surface, but as we scan, all we are finding is bright white mountains of dust and rock. Nothing of use to us. We are calling it for the night. Maybe we will have some better luck tomorrow. If not, I think it might be time to take the Imperial Eagle out of storage and see if it can make a name for itself through some local canyons. The crew and I need a boost.
