Unnerving developments in the PDB’s evolutionScott Orbital, Apademak
After the Federal Intelligence Agency crushed the pro-corporatist group Jupiter's Wrath with intelligence provided by the PDB surveillance network, the PDB will update its algorithms to include so-called "hostile ideologies" in its surveillance.
Congressman Bai Zheng was quoted in The Federal Times:
“This is an unnerving development in the PDB’s evolution. It’s also what many of us in Congress feared. We are not targeting people who have committed a crime, but people whose personal opinions are unpalatable to the government.”
Political observer Sam Glass says the federal government's mass surveillance has gradually created the "Panopticon".
Since all federal citizens and even Congressman can be monitored by the PDB's surveillance network, it will lead to the development of political self-censorship in the minds of people who are afraid to speak out against the government, because those who do are liable to be arrested for "hostile ideologies".
A spokesman for the Federal Freedom Party said:
“We call on all Congressman to stand up to the PDB. The federal democracy has been destroyed by the PDB and it is our duty to stop it before it gets worse.”
