Commander Oxforth - Thursday, December 12, 3310

Location: Flousop

Vessel: Krait Mk II- Solar Valkyrie

Fleet Carrier: [Q2K-37G] GalVik - INNHERRED (OPTIONAL)

Mission Overview: Anti Xeno Warfare - Defence of Alpha Centauri

Commander's Log:

The Solar Valkyrie touched down today on the deck of INNHERRED, her hull still bearing the scars of the fierce battles fought at Al-Din station. A fitting place to make a stand—Alpha Centauri, the heart of Hutton Trucker territory. A total of 154 Thargoid kills have been notched into her logs, each one a reminder of the unrelenting invasion and the resilience required to hold the line.

Today’s victory wasn’t mine alone. My wing was back, stronger than ever. Ramforth, Aerondir, and Skandragon were by my side, and together we drove back the alien tide. That it was here, in Alpha Centauri, feels significant. The Trucker-controlled system was where Ramforth and I first found our footing as Commanders. Their generosity and camaraderie lit the path for us, and now we’ve returned to repay that kindness with blood, sweat, and fire.

Fighting for the Truckers is like coming full circle—a debt repaid in part, though with them, the debts never truly feel like burdens. You hope there’s always more to pay because paying it back is as rewarding as it is vital. To stand on their turf, defending their people, feels like home in a way few other places ever could.

For me, the decision to fight here was clear. The Hutton Truckers were instrumental in helping Ramforth and me secure Valhaling, our haven and home. That system, mercifully untouched by the Thargoid invasion, stands as a testament to what solidarity among Commanders can achieve.

With this battle behind us, I’ll take a brief reprieve. But it won’t be long before I head for Sol, where the fight against Titan Cocijo looms ever larger. The full-scale assault hasn’t begun yet, but skirmishes are already underway. Commanders are fighting outside stations and megaships, defending humanity’s strongholds. That’s where I’ll be next—defending those who need it most.

As the final push against Cocijo draws near, I’ll need to refit the Solar Valkyrie into a Titan bomber. Perhaps another Krait in my fleet will take up that mantle, one already kitted for the purpose. Either way, I’ll be ready.

It’s hard to believe that almost a year has passed since Titan Taranis fell in March of this year. Back then, I stood on the sidelines, overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of becoming an AX pilot. The challenges seemed insurmountable—the bar too high, the abyss too deep.

Now, circumstances have forced my hand. I’ve learned to fight, to stand against the impossible. I will not let Sol fall without adding my strength to the defense. Every Commander, every ship, every role is critical.

I’ve ferried passengers to safety. I’ve delivered emergency aid. I’ve fought Thargoids in open space and defended their chosen targets. I’ve slain scouts, interceptors, basilisks, and even a hydra. I’ve been battered, humiliated, and left barely clinging to life. But I’ve also endured, stronger each time.

In me flows the blood of the Norse, unyielding and fierce. My roots, like those of Yggdrasil, run deep into the principles of war. I will not buckle. I will not break.

I wasn’t there when Taranis fell. But I will be there when Cocijo does.
