Am currently tied up in a pleasure exploration run to VY Canis Majoris, having a good run several new star systems will bear my name in their discovery data. Then on one of my many drops to unidentified signal, most having been degraded emissions I happened on one in unoccupied space that ended up being a Distress Call, having an extra fuel tank and some fuel limpets I decided to drop out and as I figured there was a fuelless ship broadcasting.
I set-up to transfer them some precious fuel and a wing of three pirates open up on me. My fault for not watching my radar. I managed to rabbit my way out of there but here I am more than 1000lys from repair 700lys or more from my goal with 1% of ship health.
