04 August 3301 --- Making Bank, Making Dangerous

Today was the day I needed to make big money. I strapped myself in and headed into the RES, starting off with a few good picks, including some Couriers that look pretty tasty for my wallet. The kills keep racking up as I go along flying my way through asteroids and open spaces above them. Still, there are those moments of calm that are nice at times when you've blown up dozens upon dozens of ships without break, and a bit anxious at others when you haven't spotted a pirate for a while. I headed back to the orbital to cash in what I had earned. It doesn't stop as I return to destroy pirate after pirate, protecting the miners when there aren't any law enforcement nearby. Eventually, I make another 2.4 million from my next run.
I can't tell whether going out there a third time is crazy, but I went anyway. I told myself I needed some cash and I was going to get it. What I found was a bit of a flashback to the first time I got here. Vultures, Clippers, and Pythons showed up. I was excited and wiser, learning from my mistakes back then. I waited as I picked them off at precise moments to make sure I earned the kill and the money. I got excited at the bounties I'd earn from these pirates got better and better and better.
Even my buddy, CMDR Elden Frost decided to come by for some action. We shot up a lot of heavy ships and earned a lot of credits. I also got a direct message from the Pilots Federation of my combat prowess, promoting me to Dangerous Rank. It was a good feeling in my heart. We proceeded to combat against more ships, until we went against a Clipper, who royally shredded my shield and went nuts against my hull. Elden had my back as I fled to recharge my shields. Long story short, we took care of him, but knowing better, I flew back to the Orbital for repairs. You can probably check out his entry for details. I took a deep breath as I sat in my cockpit, cashing in the latest bounty vouchers to my account. I figured that was enough for today. I turned off my engines and slid into the Pirouette's quarters, slumping to sleep.
Before dozing off, I looked at my credit count. I was more than double what I started with today. Can't deny that's it's a good thing.
