We cannot detain it. The virus causing so many outbreaks in the Colonia region has changed again and with every iteration we seem to start our research from scratch. Gloria says her team has never encountered something like this before. They currently have two theories regarding the hybrid nature of the agent but both are too weird to make them public yet. We'll need samples and I might have to ask for assistance from other commanders to get them.Meanwhile the new variant is raging in Deriso and has been named Colonia Peculiar Virus (CoPe). We are working on the erradication with a focus on the Colonia Agricultural Cooperative, who are suffering the worst.
On a sidenote the biological hazard laboratories on Dove Enigma are getting too small for our work. I might have to apply for labspace in the Colonia Applied Research facility.
