Cmdr Barbudo Grande checking in. Some say Barbudo for short (which it often is, but maybe not on a long journey)It was time to set out, to what? I know not, yet. I was emboldened by our fair leader, Prince Tharik Otoli, to strive not for the minimum, but to want the most out of the pirate life... which is everything fathomable.
My trusty bird, FregataX, has fared well on my 2000+ light year deep journey into the abyss. A small distance for some, but a stepping stone for I.
The Horse-head nebula gave me hope that there was more than the grind against the terrible Federation and the misaligned Alliance. If only they could see what it truly means to be free out here.
With no weapons aboard we shall see what encounters incur, but I know fully that FregataX shall see me through.
I only hope I brought enough whiskey for the return ride.
