Update: Thunderbird 4 and fighter pilots

01-05-3307Our newly hired fighter jock successfully completed his shake down run through the Asteroid belt this morning. Our passenger is secure in 1st and we are on course to reach the handover rendezvous as planned today.
I am still not sure that my decision to recruit a fighter pilot in the Bar was a shining example of better thinking, with no résumé on hand, but there is something about Jim.
His ID reads Capt. James Hawdon.
Rated as Master in combat ability, he clearly once had a successful career in the Federal Navy, but even the most rudimentary of ID checks highlights that he was once married, no children and is prone to gambling and drinking too much. Dishonourably discharged after being found on the Bridge of a Corvette under the influence of Lavian Brandy.
So, that explains his fall from grace in the Navy.
Suggest we keep a close eye on him, both on duty and off.
