1 Flaming Star Logistics Centre Flaming Star Sector LX-T b3-0 1,706.90I was out here once before, it might have been back in 3306, while it escapes my mind now, it was probably a fit of ennui that led me out to the remnant of a recent supernova. Unfortunately when I got out here the first time I consulted the Codex only to discover that the Flaming Star Nebula is not a supernova remnant but just a collection of leftover dust, helium and hydrogen gas. I can tell you I swore, hit my nav panel repeatedly and then started to laugh my arse off!
I haven’t ventured out here since, though I have always had a hankering to revisit the Jellyfish Nebula again. The last 2 years I’ve been far too busy as a Trader with my Squadron EIC, yep The famous East India Company. They were at first reticent to let me join as I was born in Federation space, but six months of courier missions and trade missions at Ngallin and out of Clement Station in Alpha Fornacis bought me some good will. 2 years later and I’m an Imperial Citizen of high standing.
But back to my current adventure. You see I spent the last months working out of Arinack, pushing EIC Interests and finally the lead faction deemed me persona non grata and sent some bounty hunters after me. I decided to cool things down by getting out of dodge, and so I came up with the idea of a trip to the galactic south, after all the rest of my crew can keep my two FCs running without me. So I dusted off my trusty Aconda, ‘Infinity's Edge’, replaced her A class FSD with one of these new fangled CG one’s I’d earned last year and sure enough got her up to a 79.9lty jump range while still having all the creature comforts to which one is used.
I’ve decided to follow a group that went out that way last year. I got in contact with them and had a chat. So the Flaming Star Logistics Centre is my first stop on the trip to Arm’s End and the infamous DSSA FC ‘The Explorer's Bar & Grill.’ Time to pull the cap down, pack in the square pigs and wind the FSD and booster up to maximum! I may have been born on Earth in Australia, but now I’m off to the real ‘deep south’. Wish me luck that somehow I don’t stumble across the Thargoid homeworlds or collide with an uncharted black hole!
