Day 9, Great Southern Expedition, Great Orme's Flowers

Great Orme's Flowers Pheia Aewsy LV-Y d11 7,435.76Great Orme’s Flowers, a Gas Giant with the rare green colouration is located just 13 jumps away from Station X. This is one of the two green gas giants discovered so far in the galactic south. I spent 7 hours flying around its north and south poles, which are green due to the presence of algaeic based lifeforms in the upper atmosphere of the giant. It was with deep sadness and mind you an excitement that I left Great Orme's Flowers on the way to Dreamer Blush.
After two days of rapid jumping I felt the need to land and stretch my legs. Going slightly space mad, I set down on an undiscovered, unmapped, virgin world, and bathed in the light of its dim red dwarf star. No living soul has stood where I have and seen this sight. I cataloged the world, took a few pictures and recorded my discovery. I powered down everything except the life support and slept the night on the surface.
Later, some 18 hours into the journey I came across a waterworld. A beautiful ‘Blue Diamond’ waterworld amid the emptiness of Kepler’s Crest. It is dark here, with few stars to light the background apart from the slash of the Galactic plane. I cried tears of joy at its beauty and stood looking for an hour before once more jumping out of the system.
