Our time to emerge from obscurity has come!

I became the head of my house, when my father unfortunately passed in January 3310.For years our system had been dominated by a faction that was past it's zenith.
Our house had slipped into a dreadful obscurity.
When I ascended to the head of the family.
The faction that was in control of our system was clearly spent, & had slipped into decadence.
The people of our system deserved a better more secure life.
A strong hand at the helm to keep our system stable, keep people fed & in good health.
In February 3310, we made our first advances.
We slowly took control of the other settlements in our system that were held by lower less deserving factions.
Then in April we were ready to strike.
Unfortunately though. This was moment, when forces from other much larger factions from outside our system chose to become involved in our systems affairs...
This was deeply troubling.
So we decided to watch & understand what these interlopers were doing in our system?
We understood who they were. But did not yet know their intentions?
We allowed them to expand the spent force that controlled our system to other systems.
In the hope that was all they wished to do?
Then much to our surprise!
A charlatan appeared, claiming to be the own & control this clearly long forsaken faction!
However...
It then became clear that their real intention was to prepare our system for a takeover!
This was the moment when we had no choice but to step in, & stop them dead in their tracks!
Now that we have finally risen from our long and dreadful obscurity.
We have taken full control of all of our systems ports & settlements.
We stake our claim.
This is our system!
We shall defend it against all, & keep it in good health.
We know who our powerful neighbours are, & why they wished to take our beautiful system.
We would rather not come into conflict with them in the future.
But we were here first!
Know this though...
We know who you are... So beware!
We are not new to this...
We will vigorously defend independence!
