A Shakedown Flight To Hell

At some point I'm going off into the black, and I don't expect to get back to The Bubble for months. And that's fine, my alt/sister is going to stay around and keep an eye on things. But me? I'm going exploring. But nobody is crazy enough to just start exploring without making sure they have a ship suited for solo work for the better part of the year. Which is where 'The Joan Sims' Exploraconda comes in. It's going to get a decent level of engineering to help survivable, and a mix of modules so I can enjoy myself. I'm about halfway through the engineering I want, but this weekend I took it out for a short 4000 ly trip to the Seagull Nebula and the landmark that is Hell Port.
For a first shakedown flight over a decent distance, that went well. Everything feels pretty close to what I wanted. I already had a note that I will cut down the cargo space and go for a larger AFM unit with more repair capacity, and I could really do with maxing out the thrusters. But that's something to look at this week.
Fly safe. CMDR.
