Update After Respite

This exploration trip has been quite the long journey so far. Its taken 3 months to get to jaques station. It would have been longer had I not crashed my ship into a high gravity world bringing my ships hull down to 30%. That plus the effects of lonelyness this far out from civilization, has meant that I had to cut my losses and head straight to Jaques. No more landing on planets or flying around scanning. Get there as quick as possible and get my ship repaired. What a welcome sight Jaques Station was after so long! I decided to sell my exploration data, containg 2 so far undiscovered earthlikes and a 3 black holes. All in all I managed to get 18mil for the data I had collected so far. It being so nice to be around people again I decided to take a well earned break and just hang around Jaques station until I felt able to continue my journey to Sagittarius A.
After around a month I decided to head back out into the black (actually the stars are so tightly packed together its not so black anymore). I got another AFMU, having 2 is quite essential for long exploration trips. I also got rid of some unnecessary wieght in order to get my jump range up a bit higher. I now have a jump range of 28.92 lyrs rather than the 25 I had. Not a huge difference but hopefully it'll make a difference. I do not intend to scan as much as before. I will stop and check each system and will only scan the systems I find most interesting. I will also check various planetary bodies for there rare materials as well. I no longer need to log the materials I find and the planets I find them on as I can now get that information from scanning in orbit.
