Journey Across the Galaxy - Entry 11

I've spent the last several days traversing the loop of Barnard's Loop. I saw some amazing vistas. The whole sky glowed red. Toward the end of my transit I entered the Trapezium Sector LR-V c2-0 system and found a couple of beautiful planets, one with a dazzlingly bright albedo that made for an awesome shot with the nebula as a backdrop, and another that was by far the most orange planet I've encountered so far. I left the loop and continued on to the Flame Nebula. I entered the Trapezium Sector KB-X c1-8 system in the center of the Flame Nebula and came across a Drake-Class Carrier, the Enterprise L4X-7VZ. It was fortuitous since I had a couple of systems earlier taken some damage from falling asleep at the controls and inadvertently emergency dropped out of supercruise. I docked on Enterprise just long enough to have my hull repaired. I didn't even get out of the ship. I took off and flew back to Orion Nebula Tourist Centre where I turned in my exploration data and I am currently stocking up to head out to my next destination. I am heading to the Oochorrs NF-L d9-12 system. This will be my first trip outside of the Inner Orion Spur region. I'm excited to begin my journey to all 42 regions, but I'm also a tad bit nervous. I'll be getting a long way out from civilization, but it will be worth it. I'll be an Elite explorer by the end. o7
