Undermining our Opposition - Day 1

Day 1Mission: Planetary Scan Job:
I woke up feeling uneasy about embarking on today's task. I accepted a contract to do a Planetary scan job, in a star system near our home system. The goal is to undermine the cooperative that has control of our solar system. With lofty goals of inciting civil war, embark on my days efforts of anarchy and mischief.
I arrived at the solar system, and I was instructed to scan a NAV beacon, I piloted my ship over and spent some time sifting through the data. Data which updated my mission log.
It highlighted a small rocky body no far away in super cruise.
I flew over to the planet and began the objective of probing it down.
This revealed a search location in my contacts.
I flew on over and the darn signature kept moving all over the place!
Eventually after 5 or 6 location changed it settled on a small outpost.
I began my planetary landing at the indicated coordinates. Upon arrival I was greeted by two skimmer sentinels, which at first were not hostile, but quickly let me know they were not happy with my intrusion when I attempted to scan the data node in their outpost. I had to act quick because there were two of them and only one of me. Deftly controlling my Scarab's turret, I managed to eliminate the hostiles.
After the carnage, I rolled on over to the data node and made some scans, but for trespassing and attacking the skimmers, I was rewarded with bounty claims on my head!!!
Now a wanted man, on the run, I hopped back into my ship, and aimed her towards a low security system in hopes of contacting legal authorities to clear my name, and settle the fines.
On my way over to the low security system I was interdicted by a system authority vessel that very much outclassed my defenseless Diamondback Explorer, but some how by the skin of my teeth, I dodge and strafed enough of the incoming fire to get away into Frame shift!
I arrived in this less unfriendly system and immediately checked my navigation panel in order to locate a suitable backwaters settlement.
I was pretty uneasy about landing on this station after seeing all of these red skull holograms spinning around, but they were welcoming, and let me speak with the interstellar authorities to clear my name. I paid the 2500 credits to do so, and breathed in a sigh of relief. At least now the system authorities wouldn't be after me.
I flew back to our home base, did a smooth glide down and turned in my mission for maximum influence.
All in a days work I say, but the day wasn't over just yet.
I picked up a few more planetary scan job missions, to continue my goal of causing a civil war.
Until next time...
