I fnally did it, I bought my first ship. A small Hauler class but enough for me. I know I have some work to do on it to get it ready to make some money but that shouldn't cost to much. I'm thinking of calling her the Munin after the old Norse gods Raven. Climbing inside and looking around I was surprised at how big it was on the inside. I expected to be cramped but the living area will be perfect for just me. Here come the mechanics, I'll update after I get them working on the modules, I know I need a larger cargo bay.Got them working on the FSD. larger cargo pods and a new power plant. At the moment he can jump 17 light years,and that will have to for now, I just can't be expecting to go anywhere fast. The ground crew said it will take a few hours to get everything installed and that gives me enough time to get the quarters setup to my liking. Also need to check the job board and see what'sat this station. May have to resort to taking packages instead of cargo but whatever pays...
Well that didn't take long, already traded Munin in for a Cobra MkIII, going to call it the Hrafn, Norse for Raven. I just finished the jobs I had picked up and found a port I may call home for now. Piccard port, reminds me of an old earth show and for now it's better than nothing. How we they don't have the FSD I need and I have to head over Markov Enterprise to have it fitted. Once that's done I should have a decent amount of range and should be able to take more lucrative missions. I had the ship outfitted with the larger cargo pods at the dealer and now I can carry 44 tons, possibly more once I look at things while they are fitting in the new FSD. Than after that I am heading to bed and preparing for tomorrow. Excited to properly fly the Cobra tomorrow....
