State of Revolution

The Industrial Workers of the Way has signed a charter declaring itself a vanguard political organization, and within two days we've encountered resistance from our oppressors. It was to be expected, but our best pilots are war-hardened veterans, and we have the will of the people on our side. Our enemy was completely taken by surprise due to the rapid escalation of events, but the outpost owners will be better fortified. They are, however, no match for the fleet carrier our bravest workers donated hard-earned wages and time towards constructing. We will take control of our home and give it back to those who built it: the working men and women of Nauan Du.I have already begun planning expansions into neighboring systems. They are ruled by theocratic, corporate, and feudal dictatorships. Divine mandate and profits are inexcusable wherever they occur, and we could not genuinely call ourselves a movement of the people if we left our neighbors to languish in chains. Maringpho and Nanarilobo seem like the most likely targets. Both are quite close, so moving resources and warfighting ships to hold territory should not be an issue. I'm confident that the local working people will join this fight en masse when they see the light of freedom so close at hand.
Our revolution will not go unopposed, but if we stay true to form and pure of goal, we will prevail.
This is the Way.
-CMDR Ivy Augustine Hall, Chairwoman of the Industrial Workers of the Way
