My first stop is ready. After some adjustments due to change of equipment, we are ready for launch. That is why make these tests. We will need to go over some small details with the crew once back home.
As I get my gear and move to the hangar, I can hear the crew chatting. My Viajero del Abismo (Abyss Traveller) is ready to go.
First Jump. Supercruise. We scan the current system just to realize that we are alone. The Carrier is the only single signal apart of myself in the whole system. Several non-scanned icy bodies form the rest of this lifeless system.
Second Jump. Hyperspace. Direct to the Coronet Pulsar, a twin neutron star system, the closest pulsar to Sol. We are just 521 years from humanity's origins.
The beauty of the A star is only comparable to their twin, much more calmed, which just a few steps away. We overcharge our FSD and get ready to jump.
There is a change of plans and I decide to go to the next stop to take a look.
With 281 ly of jump available it would be a shame not to go somewhere else. Using less than a half of it, I get to BrsO 14 (R Cra Nebula (NGC 6729)). Small stop, small nebula.
A signal comes up. Victory-Class Carrier named BC-304 Daedalus MKII.. Access restricted. As I fly by the huge space ship my previous feeling of loneliness fades away. We are spreading out as a species. That is a fact.
I must go back to my carrier. I send instructions to begin jump preparations to go back to Shapsugabus.
Test is over.
