Engineering teams were checking the Virgen del Carmen for a complete check up before starting our trip. We are facing the void where the crew of this trip will go to places no human being has been before. We will see some of the most wonderful places in the Milky Way.
I guess that is what kept us busy to do all these boring tasks. Our mining team was doing tests on our newly engineered T9. Mixed results of tritium mining gave an output of 140 Tons/h which would delay our plans, so the decission has been made. We will fill the carrier with 23700 Tons of fuel plus 1000 in the reserve.
Some of the guys in the Squadron helped out bringing that much fuel into the ship. It was amazing.
Combat teams were preparing their ships. You never know what you are going to find there. There are no nav beacons anymore to where we go. Stealth ship ready, close combat ready, dropships ready. We wont be caught with our pants down, that is for sure.
Exploration teams just finished their last tests a while ago. The Viajero del Abismo (Abyss Journeyman) is ready. 71 Ly jumper with everything you need not only to survive but to spend long times in the void with absolutely no problem at all. Ice resistance tests are done.
Now it is all quiet again. I can feel the nerves rising up as we get prepared for the departure.
BSPM - Virgen del Carmen is ready to leave.
