Under the Oochorrs skies and 257.77 Ly in one jump!

Apparently the Thargoids must have disturbed our communications in the Coalsack Nebula. I had very much trouble to communicate with the V1K-10M Starpiercer that was serving as a base station for this part of the expedition in Musca Dark Region PJ-P b6-1. Our communications was not only broken but modified which led to huge problems finding each other. All these delayed departure for almost 20 hours.

Finally we made it to the Oochorrs Lighthouse (HD 43193) - the system got its name from a dual neutron star which makes amazing and terrifying spectacle of blue jet cones twirling with high speed. That was the place to say goodbye. I set off from Starpiercer into solitude of the stars.

The beautiful Barnards Loop was shining over the galaxy plane hiding within itself the dreaded and mysterious Col 70 sector which is believed to be the home bubble of Thargoids...

I decided to take some advantage of the opportunity and mine some polonium on the surface of one of the planets in the system.

Camping under this violet-blue skies was an unusual experience.

Oochorrs Lighthouse offers one more interesting occasion to investigate galactic phenomena. Black hole is present in the system. So I decided to fly as close as I could to investigate that dead star.

It turns out that black hole is not as dangerous as it is said to be. Navigation computers are programmed so that these do never allow flying closer than secure exclusion zone. Never ever will the navigation computer allow to do anything dangerous around black hole. In these terms that is far more secure than jumping near the neutron star and white dwarf - these are deadly if you don't know how to behave yourself.

That said, I investigated this gravitational lensing effect caused by the huge mass of the black hole concentrated in it's singularity.

And this was it, had to say goodbye to Oochorrs skies and set of towards my next waypoint.

My flight plan has been modified a little to include some far deep space stations present in "nearby" systems. So before reaching the Crab Nebula I plan to visit these waypoints:
Thor's Helmet Sector FB-X c1-5
Seagull Sector DL-Y d3
Rosette Sector CQ-Y d59
Jellyfish Sector FB-X c1-5

There are some asteroid bases located in these systems, which is a mystery for me - why were they located that far from the buuble. I plan to investigate that mystery. I believe that this must have to do something with Thargoids, as these locations encircle the dreaded Col70 sector from the "East" and "SouthEast" and that makes me feel that they must hide some coverup military purposes...

And as I plotted my route towards Thor's Helmet Sector FB-X c1-5 I decided to check up the maximum range of my FSD drive. I think I broke the record, with supercharged drive and on 50% filled up fuel tank, making the furthest jump I ever made from Oochoxt CX-R d5-0 to Oochoxt PC-G b16-0 which counts as 257.77 Ly in one jump!
