RECORDING STARTED...
Ok, so... Hopefully this is working... Ok everything checks out.
First log in literally forever, so forgive me for any inconsistencies that I may present here. But I need to start recording these to present to the Federation as evidence or otherwise, as things are starting to get serious here.
The proverbial Biowaste has hit the fan, and things are spiraling out of control here in TITAN. Hivemind are wreaking havoc with our operations and our resources seem to be stretched thin. Carriers are being attacked, we're being fed misinformation, and people are getting arrested. The FIA has had a field day and a half trying to sort out the mess of reports that I've been sending them, and they have had no luck so far in identifying anyone or anything regarding our elusive and mysterious "Hivemind".
However, there are more pressing concerns that have been worrying me more than this, believe it or not.
Aurora Adair, our squadron commander, seems to be cracking under pressure, and has dropped off of our radar completely. No one inside TITAN, the Federal Navy, or the FIA have any clue to her location or plans, and it has tanked squadron morale and cohesion. I had originally hoped to put a recommendation to receive a Federal Commendation for her actions that resulted in most of my crew being saved from the bioweapon that infected my carrier crew, but now I'm having my doubts as to whether she acted in ours or her best interest, as she seems to be a little gung-ho and a bit reckless in her solo operations, that for some reason she tells very few, if no one about. I'll still put her recommendation into the system, however I'm going to assign a surveillance team to keep a closer eye on her if and when she ever returns. I'll play it off and say it's for "security reasons". She'll resist, but we need to know what's actually going on. Her recklessness is going to get more people than necessary killed someday, and I would like to prevent that.
As for her current status...
It's been two days and she still hasn't reported in. I'm hoping to whatever god is out there that she hasn't gotten herself killed, but if she has, we'll most likely never know. If she doesn't return in about 2 weeks, I'll suggest that we vote in a temporary squadron leader in this time of crisis. Maybe the operations team will listen to me, maybe not. All I ask is that they'll listen to me, and that my position as Federal Liaison holds some weight with them.
Anyways, I've gotta go, coffee just finished brewing. I can't stand the instant stuff, makes me feel dead inside.
I'll write more reports as more info becomes available.
