This is my first logbook on this wonderful site discovered playing elite dangerous and forgive me if I will dwell a little but there is a lot of excitement to be part of such an incredible game.  I would like to dedicate this game and the character I created to my mother
THIS CHARTER IS A TRIBUTE TO MY MOTHER WAS A GREAT LOVER OF SCIENCE FICTION VIDEOGAMES AND MOVIES!
THANK YOU MOM FOR STANDING TWO HOURS AT THE CINEMA WHILE I SITTING WATCHING FOR THE FIRST TIME, STAR WARS, STAR TREK, LOGAN'S RUN, PLANET OF THE APES THE BLACK HOLE AND OTHER MOVIES, TV SERIE UFO, SPACE 1999, STAR TREK, PROJECT  UFO ... AND FOR ALL SCIENCE FICTION BOOKS GADGETS REPLICAS PROP YOU GIVE TO ME IN ALL YOUR LIFE.  MISS YOU SO MUCH CLOSE TO ME WHEN I PLAYING ELITE DANGEROUS NOW YOU CAN GO MOM IN EVERY SYSTEM TO BODLY GO WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE !!!!!!!

I took Elite Dangerous years ago on ps4 and xbox (so much was the passion for this game), but I abandoned it because it was not in my language.  Big mistake .. this year for Christmas I bought it back on XBOX.  I took a notebook and a pen and started making notes, studying it, translating it and I can say that I have arrived at King in the Empire and am advancing in the Federation.  I know, I'm at the beginning but by writing, studying day by day as in a Star Academy for self-taught, with my notebook and my pen, I was able to get to the heart of the game and understand it in its total essence. Thank you so much to Philairone for the wonderul tutorials. I had never experienced so much loneliness, so much beauty, so much reality and so much mystery as in Elite Dangerous.  The soundtrack of this extraordinary game concept leaves you so amazed and at the same time excited, scared as you get off and drive your srv into the darkness of an unexplored planet.  It was and still is the only game in the videogames landscape that perfectly conveys the immensity of the universe and the disturbing infinite beauty of how small and alone we are.  I believe that this sentence that President Kennedy had on his desk, beyond any religious belief, detaches itself from any belief and summarizes the concept of Elite Dangerous:
"OH GOD THY SEA IS SO GREAT AND MY BOAT IS SO SMALL"

Never give up games you don't understand right away, study them, love them.  Thanks Elite Dangerous and Inara for your emotions for us all.
