Tyy’sun Eson stands wearing a formal business suit at a podium surrounded by floating journalist drones, behind him an array of individuals from smartly dressed members of the AI Tribunal to the far more tattered and practical delegation members of Pamantesc Settlement. Eson wears a serious and somber expression as he addresses the entire Azura Initiative over broadcast: “It is with gravity that the Tribunal of the Azura Initiative has been forced to announce that our great founder, the Voice of Azura himself, Commander Jbshadow has gone missing in the black of the Azuran Pilgrimage. Details of the circumstances surrounding this loss are sparse but an investigation is ongoing. Some of the original Tribunal members are still on Azura’s legendary pilgrimage. As it has been some weeks since we have last received transmission from Jbshadow and the crew of his exploration vessel, they are presumed lost.. And so it falls upon the Tribunal bylaws to institute a new administration immediately. After deliberations it is the will of this Tribunal that I, Initiative Scholar Tyy’sun Eson, be tapped as the new Director of the Azura Initiative, possessing managerial powers associated with the role and carrying on the torch lit by Jbshadow and his team. All surviving members of the Tribunal will stay on in their current roles, including the Hand of Azura and the Will of Azura upon their return from expedition. In addition the Tribunal will be expanding with a few new positions in the coming days to include squadron leadership and other roles, but these details will be further announced at a later time. Though it is with gratitude and honor that I accept this promotion within our newly rooted core society, it is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to Commander Jbshadow. My first act as Director is to execute a full investigation into our lost brother and his intrepid crew to determine once and for all that this tragedy has been the will of Azura on her great pilgrimage and not some nefarious dealing outside our borders.”"What of the Capital the Star of Azura?" "What will become of the other stations?" The questions come quickly and Eson struggles to answer them all but seems to be prepared..
"All excellent questions.. The Initiative as a whole is stable and will continue to thrive under the Voice of Azura's original vision. The Star of Azura will remain anchored until it's markets are dry and then it will be transferred to the control of Jbshadow's surviving estate and likely decommissioned. At that time a new Capital will be provided for. All other station, tanker, transport and outpost Captains, as well as Initiative Citizens and their families are encouraged to continue business as usual and await contact by our new administration. After a series of other questions spouted off in a robotic voice by the drones to Tyy’sun and some brief discussion the broadcast fades and normal AINet programming continues.
