The Colonia Trip

Ok, I’ll keep this first entry short because I need to get moving. First, I am in the middle of nowhere. Or so I thought. . . My first experience visiting one of the Megaships from the Colonia Bridge Project was an eye opener, to say the least. When I arrived at GRI DRYE IR-F A38-10 I took a scan of the system and I also noticed, there was a lot of traffic. Some quick thinking made me realize that, yes, there is trade going on here! And with any pile of trash, there are flies. And as soon as I completed that thought. I got interdicted. I easily evaded the interdiction, but still, out here??
We are in the middle of nowhere. Where could this jerk possibly be coming from. Even though the Megaships are only 500ly apart. That’s a long way to go for scraps. Anyway, my boring trip from the Bubble to Colonia just got less boring.
So, here’s the rub. . .Do I rely on these Megaships and all the problems that come with them? Or do I continue on my own; just as I have for the first 5000ly leg of my journey? I have to admit that I have been doing very well and enjoying my trip. I didn’t need to stop at the Megaship I just wanted to see the fruits of my labor. The credits I made from that Project is what’s financing this trip in the first place. We’ll see. . .
