Reports of Xeno attacks in Nanomam

I'd just put away some bromellite for the Earth Defense Fleet over in Nanomam when a report came in of Xeno attacks at Hahn Gateway.I hopped into Ovid while getting the Nemesis shipped over to confirm the reports. I missed my drop out and ended up nearly 300km away so it took me a while to get over to the station, which had been marked as damaged in my ship's navigation computer.
On the way, I'd remembered something I'd been told by a pilot. Something about how the Thargoids tend not to like the intrusion of humans into their regions. I thought about my runs during the Buckyball Racing Club Thargoid Structure Scramble and kept my fingers crossed as I crept ever closer to Hahn Gateway.
What I saw when I got there made me cold. I felt the goose pimples on my arms press against flight suit and the emptiness in my chest could have swallowed the Ovid whole.
I'm sorry... I j-... I don't have the words for this.
I had the Ovid's ship cameras take some footage as I explored the wreckage before heading over to the rescue ship.
The Rescue Ship over here at Hahn Gateway has rescue and salvage missions available. The suits are calling me back over to Gresley but I'm gonna see what I can do to get some of these people out of here before I get sent somewhere else. It isn't their fight, which is something the man in the black suit used to tell me whenever we ran into something he called dramatic, and the men in suits are a cold people... but they're not as cold as I am right now.
