I've been ignoring a reassignment message from one of the suits. It's been sitting in my inbox for days as I've been looking through various trading digests and conducting surveys in my radius. I ended up settling on a nice little double hop in LTT 1289 running gold, palladium, silver, and bertrandite from Osterbrock Terminal to Sato's Progress and back, dropping off the first run of bertrandite at the station before picking up a second run of the major metallics and heading over to Phillip's Terminal in CD-72 190 and then picking up a full load of bertrandite and finishing up at Sato's Progress. It seems a bit convoluted, but I remember the man in the black suit posing a riddle about a farmer, a fox, and chicken. I have no idea what those last two things are- I think they're types of meat- but the premiss and the challenge is pretty much the same. As long as you keep the silver in your hold when you cross from Sato's Progress back to Osterbrock, you'll double your credits and after a single loop I netted about $36 million in total profits for a single loop.
The message from the suit is burning a permanent red into my holofac screen, I bet. I don't know why they'd even bother after I let them know what I was going to be doing. I'm sure it can wait.
