Legs are Over-rated.

I messed around with trying to optimize my VR settings for Odyssey today. Up to now, I've been playing Horizons in VR and neglecting Odyssey. Despite all of the (definitely a bit earned) griping from the community over the Odyssey release, I do find it quite fun. I love running around in the Mav suit and scavenging stuff, and xeno-biology seems kinda fun.But I can't bring myself to fly outside of VR anymore. Between the staggering scale and the ability to turn my head, I don't think I can enjoy any space game anymore without VR.
That said, the VR experience in Odyssey's pretty rough. The transition to flat-screen when on foot isn't the massive deal breaker for me that it seems to be for so many others. If feels like playing an FPS shooter on a big-screen TV. The real issue is the frame-rate drops near stations. Having that happen in VR is disorienting and unpleasant, compared to Horizons where everything runs so smoothly.
Hopefully, the frame-rate will get better with subsequent updates, but until then I may have to stick to Horizons (or just take Apex everywhere).
