Another Battle and maybe something more?

Okay I left Dav's Hope a bit earlier as expected. Maybe I will come back in a few Weeks and try to investigate more then. For now, I went back to the Sheppy Den Tavern to aid my Comrades in the Battle in the Paresa System.So as soon as I came back, I immediately got into my Great Spirit as I got a Distress Signal from our Leader and his Wing, that they had a bit of Trouble with a Majestic Class Interdictor from the Empire. When I got there, I instantly helped to fight it off and took out the Weapons, while the others took out the Heat Relays. Of course after that Capital Ship retreated, the other Imperial Vessels weren't a Problem and I made sure to protect my fellow Wingmates as good as I could. Maybe it was at this Moment, where I kinda grew closer to our Leader Kazuma. Every time he had some Ships on his Tail, I went and supported him by either shielding him with my much larger Ship or attacking his Pursuers. After the last Battle in Paresa, we went back to our Fleet Carrier to get some well deserved Rest.
During the Way to the Mess Hall, Kazuma and I talked a bit about the Battles and we both had to laugh, as we noticed how the Empire still sends out Captial Ships whenever we're around. Of course they couldn't know if we're in the Conflict Zone or not but still. As we got our Food, Kazuma invited me to his private Quarters and I thought why not? So we sat in his Quarters while he went over all the Papers for the Carrier and we talked about our Past. I also told him that I was a Criminal first and worked together with Pirates before I got arrested. I also told him about my first Ship which still sits in the Hangar of the Carrier and on which I still work on from time to time, my Eagle with the Name Old Spirit.
After a while, the Deck Officer Commander for the Carrier requested Entry and I listened to what she had to say to Kaz. After that he apologized for the Interruption and I just waved it off since it was important. Then he got me by Surprise with a Question I never thought I would hear: He asked me if I want to be his Mate. Unable to answer that Question right away, I told him that I will give him my Answer in time and as he was about to head to sleep, I smiled at him and wished him a good rest.
Now I'm sitting in my own Quarters and don't know what to think or say about that...so for now let's see what will happen in the Future. For now I'm just happy that I maybe finally found a Place I call Home.
