Useless Aliance and Independents

The Aliance and Independents ingame are pretty much unused and unspoken subject. Everybody is getting booty and badges for Empire and Feds, yet Aliance and Independents should also get some ranks, ships and rank locked sectors of their own. I think this is a missing subject that is yet to be filled, but imagine grinding also through Aliance ranks, getting some of their (yet not released ships).
With Empire you get Courier, Clipper, Cutter - basically courier/trade ships. With Feds you get Gunship, Assault ship and Corvette - attack ships.
With Aliance you get nothing, and this is grinding my gears. They could produce some nice exploration ships.
Also this goes for Independent Lords.
These guys do not even have reputation boards. I bet this subject is to be introduced to the game. Just imagine having reputation with pirates and ranks among pirates.
Also special Pirate/Independent vessels from their shipyards that come with ranks, eg. range of trade/fight ships.
