This short entry is about Cutters and Vettes. Both are proclaimed that they can be owned only by a handful of pilots and from that handful only few can afford to A Grade them. Sure this would be true, however atleast the inara stats prove otherwise.
According to the site the Cutter is owned by atleast 5046 pilots registered on inara. and Corvette is owned by merely 4986 pilots on inara.
Often that is both, me included. Compared to Anaconda that is owned by atleast 14504 pilots.
Sure they are rare, but not rare enough as e.g. Asp Scout owned by at least 795 pilots or F. Dropship (1235).
Cutters and Corvettes are basically mass produced Ferrari and Lamborghini, and A.Scouts are the real limited editions of VW Lupo. But would you want one? No, you would go for the Asp Explorer (20678 pilots) or a VW Golf GTI.
We really need a bigger, more badass and rarer ship limited e.g. only for and Elite of the rank. Like an Elite Explorer would get a special rare explorer cruise ship with massive jump range, or an Elite trader would get a limited edition SuperCutter with more cargo load and less weapons.
Also crossbreads like an Elite Trader and Elite Explorer would get a cross SuperCutter with the Explorer Cruiser - huge trader with 40 LY jump range. Or a Battleship with Increased jump range of 30 LY with ELITE COMBAT and EXPLORER
I am also speaking about the size of 300m and above. We already have shipyards for capitals, we can make XL docks on the outside of Coriolis. Other docks would be not accessible by the huge ships.
